BARCELONA, SATURDAY FEBRUARY 12, 2022
The 2022 Goya Awards Gala has celebrated its 36th edition in the city of Valencia, with the international Goya to Cate Blanchett and outstanding performances by Joaquín Sabina, Leiva and Luz Casal. In addition, the unavoidable contest of Spanish cinema has shone again with its spectacular red carpet, where Ze García has had a presence with a dramatic proposal with a folkloric and Spanish air thanks to the trust of the renowned actress and singer Carmen Jedet.
The Spanish singer and actress wears an elegant, sensual tailor-made haute couture proposal with a folkloric soul. A sculptural line dress draped at the waist to enhance the silhouette made of black silk knit. The vertigo openings on the sides of the bust and on the neckline of the back that she plays with the fine and delicate strips of the same fabric that outline the openings add drama and sensuality. The dress is elevated with red roses in natural silk organza, Swarovski crystals and rooster feathers. A dramatic floral embellishment located on the neckline and cuffs of the dress, embroidered and made entirely by hand.
The designer of Ze García has been inspired by the Spanish folk tradition in homage to the Andalusian roots of Carmen Jedet and the great popular artists such as Sara Montiel. Whose baroque, sophisticated aesthetics and traditionalism draw a unique flamenco and melodramatic aura. And what better occasion than the Goya Awards to worship Spanish culture.
